OPEN Chicago’s Pitch Competition is a platform for entrepreneurs, builders, and changemakers to share their ideas with our community. Finalists will get an opportunity to showcase their startup at our Annual Conference on October 24, 2026.
This year’s competition includes an in-person review round for shortlisted applicants before finalists advance to the live pitch round.

Please note the process will not include any Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) being signed by any party.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to All
Students, professionals, and early-stage entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and industries with ideas that address real-world challenges or opportunities
Company Stage
Early-stage founders. From Angel/Pre-Seed stage to Series A.
Original Work
All submissions must reflect the team’s original work and unique ideas. While teams may consult mentors, advisors and external insights, any third-party content must be properly cited and attributed.
